Two-way stretch with good recovery, the fabric most contemporary scrub brands are built on, and the sensible middle point between cost and comfort.
Poly-spandex is where the market has settled for good reasons. It moves with the wearer, holds its shape through a shift, drapes well enough to look tailored, and costs meaningfully less than a four-way performance blend.
It is the fabric we recommend by default for brands and clinics unless something specific pushes you elsewhere: industrial laundry pushes you to poly-cotton, and a premium retail position pushes you to four-way.
Stretch blends are the mid-point between poly-cotton and four-way stretch, and are the fabric most often chosen for women’s scrub programmes where fit matters as much as cost.
Exact fabric weight is quoted against the mill specification for your chosen colour, because weight shifts with dye and finish. Any supplier quoting one number for every colour is quoting an average.

Stretch is the fabric buyers ask about most and specify worst. These four questions get it right.
